Thank
you for choosing us for your professional and educational enrichment. Below are
guidelines that will assist in communicating with the instructor and smoothly
facilitate course completion.
The
program is designed for K-12 Teachers and Educators who need, or are seeking
graduate courses for their professional development, license renewal and/or pay
scale increases from their school district.
The courses can be taken year round and started anytime during the year.
Educators have up to a year to complete the course.
Instructions
- Choose the course or courses you are interested in, click on the course
title and you can read the chapter content, syllabus and assignments.
- If you want to take the course, click on one of the "Order this Course" buttons
and pay with a credit card. Or call 727-258-7233 to register by phone.
Or mail a check made to:
Teachers' Learning Center
11246 68th Avenue
Seminole, FL 33772
- A receipt will be emailed along with four (4) documents:
How TLC Courses Work, the NSDU registration form to be completed and
returned immediately, the course syllabus, and an evaluation form. Save the receipt for your records.
- While registering for courses, be sure to list your
home email address! School emails often fail and/or are blocked.
- If
you do not receive a "Course Confirmation" email with the (4)
attachments then your email address has failed. Send us an email from your
side to: info@graduatecoursesonline.com or teacherslearningcenter@gmail.com (both go to the same inbox)
- Download and print the (4) attachments in the "Course Confirmation" email and
read them. You may do some research if your course requires it while you
wait on the book.
- Immediately complete
the NDSU registration form, which is in editable PDF format.
- In order to open and edit the PDF you MUST have Adobe Reader X or above installed on your system. To download the latest version of Adobe Reader for FREE click here
- Fill out the
registration form fields and "Save As" a new PDF doc on your desktop and
re-label it with "Your Name NDSU Registration Form" [Jane Doe NDSU Registration Form]
- After "Saving As", close the file and reopen it - then check to make sure your information was saved in the PDF correctly. (Typically, Apple formatted files do not work correctly. We apologize for any inconvenience.)
- Email
the newly completed and renamed "Your Name NDSU Registration Form" to us in an attachment to: info@graduatecoursesonline.com or teacherslearningcenter@gmail.com (both go to the same inbox).
- New students will be assigned a PID number
later
- If you have taken a TLC course and have a PID #,
then there is no need to write your SSN# again
- Grades cannot be processed
without a completed NSDU registration form.
- If you do not receive your course book/DVDs in 5 to 6 days contact us immediately
- Feel free to email or call the Instructor at info@graduatecoursesonline.com or teacherslearningcenter@gmail.com (both go to the same inbox) if you need assistance or to
talk in person. We encourage questions or comments and enjoy talking with
educators.
After Completing Courses...
- When you complete the course assignments from one course, email them to:info@graduatecoursesonline.com
or teacherslearningcenter@gmail.com (both go to the same inbox)
- Include and combine all assignments and writings
into one Word.doc only
- Please be sure to label the document with your full name and course title
Label Sample > [Jane Doe Keeping The Brain In Mind assignments]
-
Do not send separate chapter reviews or other
assignments alone. Combine them into one
document.
- We must have an electronic copy. Do not mail folders or hard copy
- You will receive an "Assignments Received" email. It will take 4-5
days to review and grade them and another
week before you can order a transcript.
Plan in advance if you have a deadline, do not insist on faster
processing or call and bother the University staff with
inquiries. Email us at TLC and/or call the instructor with all inquiries!
- A "Course Completion" email will then be sent to you along with
directions on how and when to order your Transcript from North Dakota
State University (NDSU)
-
When your course has been recorded at North Dakota State University
you will receive an email titled: EMPLID. This email is from NDSU asking you for
login information to view
your transcript on the NSDU website and help center
- If applicable to your particular course(s), please return
all DVD's to:
Teachers' Learning Center
11246 68th Avenue
Seminole, FL 33772
Course Guidelines and Considerations
- As described above, please print and complete the North Dakota State University Registration Form as soon as possible to TLC, or make sure you enclose it
with your final papers (preferably the former). No grade/ transcript can be issued without it.
- Place your full name on all email correspondence. Emails are
informal, however we receive numerous emails from educators and a mix-up or
omission can easily occur.
- Contact us by email or by phone and/or leave a message at any time and we
will respond quickly. The Instructor will also be glad to talk with you in
person at your convenience.
- Be sure and read all syllabus directions. If we don't hear from you, we
will assume you are fine. If you have questions, need more support or
conversation please let us know.
- Please send in the course evaluation form after Course Completion. If you desire
anonymity, print & mail in the evaluation form without a return address
- Writing Format: MA is a guide. Feel free
to use your own writing style
Layout: please use a 1" boarder, 12 font, 1.5 line spacing and bolded headings
- Let us know immediately if any CD's or DVD's are inoperable. We will send
you a replacement. The
discs work fine in our machines and sometimes not in others.Try
watching DVD's on other Computers or DVD Players. Please
return all DVD's by US
mail when you are done to the address above.
- Do
not call or send anything to NDSU. You will be referred back to us (TLC). Inquiries may
not go to a person who is familiar with TLC courses or procedures.
- Allow
two weeks for a transcript after all work and procedures have been
followed. Do not pressure us/NDSU about transcripts. Let us know your deadlines ahead of time!. The lack of planning on one person's part
does not constitute an emergency on our part.
- However, let
us know early if there is a deadline for licensure, transcript, or pay
increase! We can probably work out
something for you.
- Receipts are immediately emailed to you upon completing payment for courses. Please save for your records
- Finally, we welcome any recommendations, especially exceptional books you
feel can be a valuable book course for many teachers.
Feel free to email or call the instructor
Joseph C'de Baca with any questions.
